Thank you for visiting my art website! I’m delighted that you’re considering bringing a piece of my artwork into your home or sharing it with someone special. My hope is that each piece offers a meaningful connection to nature and brings a little more beauty, peace, and inspiration into your everyday life.

About My Artwork
1. What types of artwork do you offer?
I offer original paintings, fine art prints, and greeting cards featuring a variety of subjects inspired by the natural world. My work includes landscapes, trees, birds, florals, and abstract interpretations of nature. I work primarily in acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media, exploring color, texture, movement, and the emotions that nature evokes.
2. What makes an original painting different from a print?
An original painting is a one-of-a-kind work of art, created by hand. Each original has its own textures, brushstrokes, colors, and subtle details that make it unique.
Prints offer a wonderful and often more affordable way to enjoy an image you love. They allow you to bring the beauty and feeling of my artwork into your home in a variety of sizes and formats.
3. Will the artwork look exactly like it does on my screen?
I do my best to represent each piece accurately in my photographs. However, colors can appear slightly different depending on your monitor, phone, screen settings, and lighting conditions. Original paintings also have textures and details that photographs cannot fully capture.
4. Do you create custom paintings or commissioned artwork?
I have enjoyed creating custom paintings for people who want artwork that reflects a special place, memory, color palette, or personal intention. If you have an idea for a painting, please contact me to discuss your vision, the desired size, timing, and pricing. Custom projects are considered based on availability.
5. How do I choose the right size painting for my space?
Consider the wall space available, the furniture nearby, and the feeling you want the artwork to create. A larger painting can become a focal point in a room, while a smaller piece can bring a quiet moment of beauty to a nook, desk, or reading area.
For artwork displayed above furniture, many people find that a piece approximately two-thirds the width of the furniture works well as a starting point. You can also use paper cutouts in the dimensions of a painting to visualize its size on your wall before purchasing.
6. Does your original artwork come framed?
Framing and presentation vary by artwork. Please check the individual listing for details about framing, canvas edges, and hanging hardware. If you have questions about a particular piece, I’m happy to help you understand its presentation before purchasing.
7. Can I purchase a set of paintings or panels together?
Yes! Some artworks are designed to be displayed together as a series or grouping. Multiple panels can create a beautiful, cohesive statement while allowing flexibility in how the pieces are arranged. When a work is offered as a grouping, please refer to its individual listing for the included panels and dimensions.
8. How do I purchase artwork?
You can browse the available artwork and product listings on my website. Each listing provides information about the piece and how to purchase it. Some prints may be offered through an external print partner, as indicated on the relevant listing.
If you have difficulty finding a particular painting, print, or greeting card, please contact me and I’ll be glad to help.
9. Do you ship artwork?
Shipping options, costs, and delivery estimates depend on the item and the purchasing platform. Please review the shipping information provided at checkout. Original paintings require careful packaging, and larger pieces may have different shipping requirements than cards or prints.
If you have questions about shipping a particular piece, please contact me before placing your order.
10. How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Processing and delivery times vary depending on the product, destination, and whether an item is made to order. Please refer to the estimated delivery information provided when purchasing. If you need artwork for a special occasion or deadline, contact me in advance so we can discuss what may be possible.
11. What if my artwork arrives damaged?
I want your artwork to arrive safely and for you to be happy with your purchase. In the unfortunate event that your order arrives damaged (even though unlikely), please contact me as soon as possible and include photographs of the item and its packaging. Please retain the packaging while the issue is being addressed. I’ll help you determine the appropriate next steps.
12. Can I return or exchange artwork?
Yes. Contact me within 7 days of delivery. I will accept returns on anything that isn’t a custom order as long as the item is returned in the condition it was sent to you. Due to the nature of a custom order, I cannot accept returns. If you have a concern about a purchase, please contact me so we can discuss the available options. Return items must be shipped back within 14 days of delivery. Customer assumes the return shipping fee.
13. Where can I purchase prints of your artwork?
Selected images are available as fine art prints through my online print offerings here: 1) Fine Art America 2) Etsy
Please follow the purchase link associated with the artwork you are interested in.
If you are looking for a print of a particular painting and do not see it listed, feel free to ask me about its availability.
14. Do you sell greeting cards featuring your artwork?
Yes! My artwork has been reproduced as greeting cards featuring nature, birds, trees, and other meaningful imagery. They are a lovely way to share a message of love, peace, encouragement, or appreciation.
Available designs, formats, and quantities vary.
15. Do you offer discounts for larger orders of greeting cards?
If you are interested in purchasing greeting cards in larger quantities for a business, gift shop, event, or organization, please contact me. I’m happy to discuss availability, quantities, and pricing for larger orders.
16. How should I care for my original painting?
Keep your artwork away from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive humidity, and extreme temperature changes. Avoid touching the painted surface unnecessarily, and never use household cleaners or solvents on the artwork. If dusting is needed, use a gentle approach appropriate to the artwork’s materials and finish.
For valuable or delicate pieces, consult a professional art conservator before attempting any cleaning.
17. Can I reproduce or use an image of your artwork?
All artwork images and designs are protected by copyright. Purchasing an original painting, print, or greeting card does not transfer the copyright or grant permission to reproduce the artwork commercially. Please contact me to discuss licensing or other authorized uses of an image.
18. What inspires your artwork?
My hope is that my artwork serves as a reminder of our connection to nature and to one another and the collective whole. I believe that when we feel a heartfelt connection to the world, we are more likely to cherish and protect it.
19. Where is your artwork available?
In addition to my website, my work has been represented at galleries in the Midwest and beyond. Selected crane images have also been available through the International Crane Foundation and other conservation-related venues.
Please check my website or contact me for current availability and locations.
